The top model carbon frame from Somec is Revolution. This model can be made to measure custom geometry in tube to tube method. Somec uses only the highest quality carbon for Revolution model and tubes are custom shaped for Somec. The carbon tubes are made in differential thickness and have nomex honeycomb inserted internally. This achieves maximum strength with minimal weight. The split seat stays give the frame superb comfort. The Revolution is offered for disc brake, disc brake with fully internal cable and for those cyclists that prefer simplicity and ultralightness a rim brake version. GENESI CARBON DISC
The Genesi model from Somec is monocoque construction using EPS bladder moulding. Completely made in Italy and using high modulus carbon the Somec Genesi is a performance bike for disc brake with the perfect blend of lightness, comfort and reactivity. With a raw frame weight of 940 grams and fork weight of 350 grams the Genesi is the basis for a ultralight bike using the finest components.

ECLIPSE
The Somec Eclipse is the top model monocoque frame from this famous Italian builder. The advantage of building the Eclipse model in Italy vs. Asian production is Somec can use higher quality carbon material for improved strength and better ride quality and they can offer better quality control by over seeing the production. The Eclipse model has improved aerodynamics with specific tube shapes and the ACR total internal cable routing. The stiffer asymetric bottom bracket shell improves pedaling efficiency and the 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 head tube improves control and stability. The Somec Eclipse is offered only for disc brake and frame weighs only 960 grams and with a full carbon fork that weighs 360 grams there is very little weight penalty for this style bicycle. The high value Somec race frame is Diablo X. If you want a high performance carbon disc road frame, made in Italy and with the best performance attributes then Diablo X is the model for you. Somec utilizes Expanded Polystyrene System and Dual Mold System in the construction of monocoque frames. This technology inserts material inside the mold and pressures the carbon fiber via hydraulic pressure to make the carbon material uniform and of higher density. This method improves strength and durability. The Somec Diablo X frame is for disc brakes and ACR system. The frame uses 1 1 /2 x 1 1/2 head tube and weighs 1050 grams and a 380 gram fork. Traditional geometry with horizontal top tube and classic lugged construction but then Somec build with Columbus Spirit tubing both for frame and fork legs. This top of range steel tube set creates a steel frame @ 1620 grams. In addition the Somec technician brings the seat stays up into the seat lug in order to create extra strength and stiffness in this critical area. Somec Rex uses 27.2 seatpost diameter, braze on front derailleur and BSA threaded bottom bracket. The Rex is a smooth and comfortable ride but also with a lot of responsiveness, stability and power.
